Nikki Staats has been with Exchange Bank for over 20 years and currently serves as HR Director at our Office in Attalla, Alabama. Most recently, Nikki served as Executive Assistant and Teller Trainer. She began her career at EXB in 2004 as a Teller after moving to Etowah County from Longview, Texas where she graduated from Pine Tree High School. During her career Nikki has held various positions which has built her strong knowledge base in banking, administration, and IT services.
During her career at Exchange Bank, Nikki has worked as a Teller, CSR, Loan Processor, Computer Processor, Deposit Compliance, Internet Banking Coordinator before moving to her current role as HR Coordinator, Executive Assistant, IT Assistant and Teller Trainer. Nikki’s strong expertise in her fields has made her a valuable asset to Exchange Bank and our customers. Nikki is also a member of various Peer Groups such as the Northeast AL HR Peer Group, FS-ISAC and IT Steering Committee, as well as, many others.
When asked what working for a Community Bank means to her Nikki has this to say, “Working for a locally owned and operated bank for 21+ years has been all I’ve known for over half my life now; the only employer I’ve had since I moved here at the age of 19! The friendships I’ve gained through coworker and customer relationships are some of the most treasured gifts I’ve received from my career that have helped shape who I am today by giving me a sense of belonging and cherished life lessons to share with my daughters.”
