Jason Hutchens serves as Office Manager and Loan Officer at our Altoona, Alabama Office. Jason has been with Exchange Bank since 2011 where he began his career as a clerk in the Loan Department. He has a background in customer service, bookkeeping, and management. Before moving to Altoona to become an Office Manager, he was the Lead Loan Processer in Gadsden. Along with his current role, Jason serves as the Bank Board Secretary.
A native of the Altoona area, Jason was a graduate of West End High School in Walnut Grove. Jason continued his education in Jacksonville, Alabama where he attended Jacksonville State University. He earned a Bachelors of Science in Finance with a minor in Business Administration and Management. During his time at JSU, Jason also was a member of the Financial Management Association. Outside of banking, Jason has served on the board of directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Alabama for 11 years where he was a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Jason also served on the Board of Director’s for the Etowah Youth Orchestras.
