Gladysia Scott serves as Office Manager and Loan Officer at our Gadsden Office. Born and raised locally, she graduated salutatorian of her high school class and then furthered her education at Jacksonville State University and Gadsden State Community College. Her career in banking began in 2002 at SouthTrust and endured its acquisition by Wachovia and later Wells Fargo. Gladysia joined Exchange Bank in 2011 as an Assistant Head Teller. Two years later she transitioned to the customer service representative role where she spent the next 12 years serving the bank and her customers earning positions as Lead CSR, CSR trainer, and ultimately in 2024 an Office Manager and Lending Officer.
When asked what drives her passion for banking Gladysia states, “What drives my passion is that I truly love what I do. It is a privilege and joy to build personal and professional relationships. The people I get to serve aren’t just customers and coworkers, they are my neighbors and community partners. I have also been very fortunate to work for an organization that places that same emphasis not solely on banking but community and service.”
