Catherine Martin

Catherine Martin is a 4th generation banker and has been with Exchange Bank for 30 years. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Finance. She is also a graduate of Alabama Banking School (University of South Alabama) and National Commercial Lending School (Southern Methodist University), and completed the Bank Executive Leadership Certification Program with the Alabama Bankers Association.
Believing we are put on this earth to serve, she has held leadership positions in many local non-profit and community agencies such as United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Imagination Place, Community Action of Etowah County and Gadsden State Community College Marketing and Management Advisory Board. Currently she serves on the boards of the Cultural Arts Foundation, Downtown Gadsden Incorporated, Etowah CARES, Gadsden Beautification Board, The Etowah Baptist Association Foundation, and the Industrial Development Authority. She has also held several state-wide leadership roles in her career field, is the Revenue Commissioners appointee to the Etowah County Personnel Board, and serves on several social boards. Catherine is also very active in music ministry at the First Baptist Church of Gadsden.
Catherine has been married to her husband Jeff for 29 years and has two adult children, one who is now the 5th generation of bankers at Exchange Bank. Catherine embodies the meaning of community leadership. With her extensive experience and knowledge, she has a strong commitment to making an impact in the community she lives in and for Exchange Bank
