Jennifer Battles is a Lending Officer and Office Manager at our Rainbow City Office. She is a graduate of Etowah High School in Attalla, Alabama and began her career in banking shortly after at SouthTrust Bank in 1988. During her career she has held various positions that has sharpened her expertise and knowledge of the industry in her 36 years in banking. In 1995, Jennifer joined Exchange Bank and has served her community with EXB for over 30 years. She started her career as a teller and has also been a trainer, CD and IRA coordinator, worked in bookkeeping and operations and then became an Office Manager and Loan Officer in Rainbow City. Jennifer has also volunteered with many different non-profits in Etowah County over the years and has served on the board of Council on Aging here in Etowah County since 2020.
Jennifer had this to say about working at Exchange Bank, “I enjoy banking you always are learning different parts of the bank and meeting different people and getting to know your customers. We are a small community bank that can serve our customers and businesses and meet all the needs they may need.”
